Exhibition: Paper Works
Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Riverside Mill, Bovey Tracey, Devon, TQ13 9AF
16th Jan 2010 - 28th Feb 2010
10:00 - 17:30

Twelve international artists harness the fragility and transience of paper. By using it as a medium for creating three-dimensional form, sheets are reworked or pulped to create visually striking works of art such as wearable garments, wall hangings, utensils or artworks that go beyond traditional origami. Here paper is not just used for the printed word but given a chance to speak for itself. Exhibitors include: Aino Kajaniemi, Berdien Nieuwenhuizen, Ferry Staverman and Leah Miles.
Curated by Yvonna Demczynska Director of Flow Gallery, London.
FREE. Open daily.
The Guild also has a crafts shop and excellent cafe for dining open all day including Sundays. parking is next door over the river. Disabled access.
